Reviews
We’re arrived here based on the reviews. Good choice. The host was attentive and helpful, the wine is great. No words about the property. Simply amazing. Definitely worth a visit.
Super tour! And friendly guide! Above all great wine!
Cognac with nice soap taste should be perfect for cleaning
Great wines. Host was fantastic. So much history
The hospitality was rather poor and not very welcoming. The guide just went for his presentation and some facts and did not really try to make it interactive. However, the visit of the cellar was impressive (Extremely modern technology) and interessting in general. The actual tasting was carried out in a hall while standing which was uncomfortable. The wine did not meet the expectations. Eventually, they also produce nice olive oil.
Super friendly and great wine tasting experience. The little tour of how they make it is fantastic. Very impressive
Formidable tasting and tour! We had a 2018 Blanc at the cave de Baumaniere at Oustau and knew we had to visit. Completely personalized service and such a lovely location high in the Alpilles. Shipping two crates home. You will not be disappointed.
Very charming place the hostess was very professional and made us a nice visit.
Very sad to learn Madame Charmolue passed away. The wine are still very good we tasted most of them my friends enjoy the cellar lost in the mountains.
After following many twists and turns from D99 (watch carefully for signs!) we arrived at an imposing structure at the foot of the Alpilles. We were cheerfully greeted, offered some wonderful "degustations" (tastings of some of their wines), and brought into this amazing "cathedral" built into the mountain, and lined with huge oak wine casks. The gentleman explained their processes (understood much better by my daughter who is the wine connoisseur in the family) while I happily snapped a few photos. We departed with several bottles and enjoyed a wonderful bottle of their rose in our patio that evening. This was one of our favorites of the Provencal wineries that we visited.
Lovely winery. Unique in its setting as well as the fermentation cave.
